Wind Surfing
Naxos Island is the surfing paradise for beginners or advanced. Two Surfcenters are available to enter the unique Kombirevier. From the marbled courtyard you go into the wave area situated directly next to the Beach. With 4-5 Bft it is ideal for Slalom Boards and with 6 Bft it is ideal for wave freaks. Then there are waves that are between 1 and 2.5 m high, that break at offshore riffs. In 2 to 3 hits/ strokes you can surf in our shallow water lagoon and let it rip. At the Lagoon that is 400m away you go directly into the shallow water area. This is ideal for beginners and the advanced to get first contact with surfing or to perfect your abilities. It is also ideal for speed or manoeuvre freaks. Through a marked passage it is possible for the advanced to surf into the wave area. Most of the time the wind blows from the right side onshore.

Live Music
There is plenty of live music in Naxos Island. Once or twice a week, in the Venetian Castle, there are live music events with a view to the magic bule of the Aegean. Having a glass of wine while listen live music and watching the perfomers with the deep blue or the sunset is a memorable experience.
Horse Riding
Horse riding is very popular in Naxos. There some excellent routes, passing through valleys the sea.
